Intro Blog
Hello!! My name is Preston Smith! I am doing my first blog that i have ever done on Hahns Peak Colorado. Hahns Peak is located right outside of Steamboat Springs and has an elevation of 10839ft/ 3304 m. It's located at 40.84300 degrees North and 106.929 degrees West. I have been coming here every summer since i was a child, which I hope to continue. My great grandfather came here in 1912 and built a family cabin. The cabin is no longer a part of the family's, but maybe one day it will be again. If anyone has any ideas, thoughts or comments to help make my blog better, more exciting and "cool" please let me know, thanks!!!

Thanks for the pictures! i was just up kayaking on Steamboat lake and was wondering what was that up on top of Hahn's peak. Awesome place. I hadn't been to Steamboat lake since the 1970's. What a treat. Good luck with the blog!
ReplyDeleteHey Montana!! I haven't posted here in a while but I am glad you liked it and found it informative. At the top is a booth where you can sign your name and leave a signature of sorts if you want. I myself have never been to the top. It takes a while and will take up a lot of your day if doing so. My family has been going up there since my grandparents were kids, so I still like to go up there with my fiancé and parents. My cousin actually got married up there last year, so it's a pretty sentimental place for us. Hope this helps :)
