Weathering of the Rocky Mountain Rage and Hahn's Peak!

Weathering is very apparent in the Rocky Mountains and at Hahn's Peak! The use of Weathering helps the Joints in rocks to create smaller rocks which is why you see "falling rock" signs while driving in the mountains. When acid rain occurs it breaks the rocks/mountains down each time, this creates Talus which enables rock slides to happen/form. Eventually the rocks/minerals stop moving and further weathering creates them to keep breaking down into soil matter thus creating organic matter from overlying vegetation. These processes are what we see today and will continue to see in our lifetime here in Colorado with our Mountainous and hillside landscape.
