Final Blog

There are different types of weathering within the Rocky Mountains and at Hahns Peak. This can be referred to as differential weathering. This can take place almost anywhere but most influential in the more desert/arid like areas, having wind play a small part in the shaping that of where the weathering is taking place.  Floods also have a lot of say with weathering and within the mountains. As Bretz was telling people that mass amounts of water rushing through an area such as a mountains range took huge affect on the overall landscape. Here in Colorado as everywhere else in the world are Biogeogrpahy processes like Natural factors. These can take place in areas such as on the mountain of Hahns Peak itself where the temperature for plants during a majority of the year can not grow because of being below 42 degrees F. But below the mountains main peak where there is good soil for plant life to grow and form it is shown.
